SE-T-64

SE‑T 64® is a high-performance tubular electrode designed for hardfacing components exposed to very severe abrasion or erosion combined with moderate to high impact.

Compared with a conventional coated electrode, its tubular technology provides a deposition efficiency exceeding 90%, a high deposition rate and limited slag formation. This reduces material losses and cleaning operations between passes.

Its deposit, consisting of primary chromium carbides distributed within an austenitic matrix, reaches 55–60 HRC from the first layer and up to 64 HRC in the second layer, providing high resistance to abrasive wear.

Its specific coating ensures good arc stability and protects the electrode against moisture, maintaining optimal welding conditions.
